As am I my friend. Unfortunately, there will be no popular concensus to demand an investigation, and there will be little more than dead ends if one ensues.
Personally, I'm going to cut my losses, satisfy myself with the great music that was provided in a great venue, and chalk it up to a learning experience that will restrict me from making the same mistake in the future (financially speaking).
If it weren't for a charitable cause, I would certainly feel much diferently, but the charity factor eases the pain a bit.
The evidence presented so far (to me anyway) points to the fact that everything was not as transparent as it should have been, and leads one to think something was amiss. Everyone has to judge those factors on their individual merit for themselves, and satisfy themselves with whatever conclusion meets their individual needs. I vote for closure.
